Strongly recommend for a weekend breather
Spacious room, delightful amenities, including a hot tub that was very nice and complimentary cinnamon rolls that were magnificent. the free wi-fi and express check-in made our stay even more convenient.

The stay was enjoyable with beautifully decorated rooms and friendly staff. However, I found the absence of coffee-making facilities and additional seating in dining areas to be inconvenient. Overall, it's a nice spot for a short getaway.

i had a great 4-night stay at colonial inn. the standard king room was spacious with very comfortable beds. the hotel has a cosy vibe and is located right in a historic area that's perfect for walking and exploring. the restaurant had nice service, and i really enjoyed the cocktail called cardinal.
the stuffed pepper soup was a bit disappointing since it lacked meat and bread.

The King Suite was a gem, super spacious and cozy! Hillsborough’s charm and their amazing restaurant's cinnamon rolls were the cherry on top of an already delightful stay. Plus, the hot tub? Yes, please!
The only thing I missed was a bathrobe for that spa vibe while sipping wine. It wasn’t a game-changer but definitely a fun suggestion for future guests.

Amazing stay with a huge room!
We stayed in this historic place for a night, and it was great! The room was super spacious with a comfy bed and a nice hot tub. The cinnamon rolls at breakfast were to die for, but the breakfast options were kinda lacking. Having a cool bar on-site was a nice touch!

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
I enjoyed my stay but missed having a coffee maker in my room. The nearby café served delicious brunch, though pre-ordering could be tricky. I recommend arriving earlier to navigate any order confusion. A cozy atmosphere awaits, just bring your own coffee essentials if you're an early riser!

I really enjoyed my 4-night stay in a cozy Standard King Room. The hot tub in my room was a nice touch for relaxation, and the bar was perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. The only downside was the lack of bathrobes, but it didn’t really dampen my experience. 🛁

It was just a fitting option for a momentary pause in Hillsborough with fantastic value for money. The room had a hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Pack your own coffee and kettle since there's no morning coffee available until 7am.
